Hotell Vänersborg is a newly built hotel in Vänersborg. Brålanda Vandrarhem is a hostel in its startup phase, featuring large premises and great potential. Both are operated by the family-owned company E.N Textil, which also runs a chain of six fabric stores across the country.

We are a small team with short decision-making paths. The business is in an exciting stage - much is already in place, but we are still building structure and routines. This means that you who join now can put your own stamp on how things work - and that the right person can grow with the role.

What the job entails

The role is practical and mobile. You will primarily move between Vänersborg and Brålanda, ensuring that daily operations at the hotels run smoothly - without needing to be reminded of what needs to be done.

In practice, this means:

• You clean rooms and common areas and keep both hotels in the condition guests expect - this is a central part of the job, both in Vänersborg and Brålanda.
• You ensure breakfast is ready and that guests are greeted with a welcoming impression.
• You handle simple administration - bookings, ongoing contacts, simple invoices.
• You check in with the owner regularly and report the status briefly and concretely.
• You identify areas for improvement and take action without waiting to be asked.

Working hours are flexible and adapted to the needs of the business. Weekend work is expected, as it is part of the hotel industry.

We are looking for you who

• Are self-starting and proactive, always finding the next task to tackle.
• Enjoy a varied, practical job and see no difference between a cleaning trolley and a spreadsheet.
• Can juggle multiple tasks and switch quickly between different types of duties.
• Communicate clearly in both English and Swedish.
• Have a driver's license and are comfortable moving between different locations during the workday.
• Live in Vänersborg, Brålanda, or the surrounding area.

Experience from hotels, service, or a similar industry is advantageous, but more important is your ability to take responsibility or your willingness to drive things forward independently in the past. We value personality and drive higher than formal qualifications.
